What-the-Dickens 262-322
It's finally here. The end of What-the-Dickens. What happens? Well I guess you'll have to read on. ( I've picked the picture to set the mood.)
We left What-the-Dickens in a uncomfortable position. Pepper, his friend, had been previously been trapped in a cage by a young man who goes by the name of Gage. She put her "legacy" or whatever you want to call it inWhat-the-Dickens hands. He had to complete two impossible task and return to the base of fairies and sadly tell them of Pepper's loss. He goes off and ends up snatching the old ladies tooth. Heading back as quickly as he could What-the-Dickens is shocked to see how uninterested the clan is in Peppers soon to be death (not a social bunch). However when he displays the tiger tooth that he had received earlier in the book they become very interested in What-the-Dickens. Especially Doctor Ill.
We learn more about Dr. Ill in this chapter, and his cruelness towards others is explained. Dr.Ill decides to appoint What-the-Dickens a new job as tooth Fairy. This greatly upsets our young hero for he feels that Pepper has not received the proper respect and admiration she should of earned. So once again he back talks Dr.Ill and Dr.Ill becomes upset. Old Flossie comes into the room and informs the two that a invasion may be taking place very soon.
The invaders end up being Pepper and Gage. Pepper is severely hurt because of her wings being snagged when Mcavity attacked her. Gage, the young boy had become fond of Pepper in the last few hours he'd gotten to know her, and was very nervous about her well being. He yells at Dr.Ill to fix her. Of course Dr.Ill must oblige since he is the size of a moth compared to Gage. Pepper recovered soon after. What-the-Dickens and Pepper decide to leave the crazy colony once and for all to become a rouge tooth fairies, they live happily ever after.
Did I enjoy this book? Well Sorta, I guess. It wasn't my favorite thing in the world but since I started reading and posting about it I thought, hey what the heck may as well finish it. Tomorrow I'll being writing about another book...I guess. I thought the characters in this book were well developed except sometimes the story would drag on and that's not very entertaining. I'd give it a 2.5 out of 5, but hey who knows someone else might really enjoy it.
