What-the-Dickens pgs 55-102

( This picture at first is very alarming, but it's interesting looking.)
Well, last time we left our beloved hero, What-the-Dickens was snatched up by some kind of bird. We later find out that it was a Grisset, a crazy, frazzled and clumsy bird. The Grisset was planning to use What-the-Dickens for her children's next meal. Once he arrives in the nest though, the baby birds refuse to eat him and the "Mama Grisset" allows What-the-Dickens to become one of her young. After a couple days in the nest What-the-Dickens ventures off once again to look for MCavity. He ends up at a zoo, while there he hears a obnoxious roaring occurring over and over again. He finally decides to investigate and discovers a giant tiger which he calls "Mcavity's cousin". He finds out later though, that the cat's name is Marahjah. The tiger's reason for complaining has to do with the fact that he has a horrible tooth ache. What-the-Dickens decides to inspect the tigers mouth and then pulls out the tooth that is causing the tiger so much pain. After doing so he decides that the tigers tooth would make a excellent present for MCavity.

Flying off once again to search for Mcavity, What-the-Dickens comes across a chimney in which he can  reluctantly rest on. While on the chimney he stumbles into a bedroom of a elderly women. He observes the room and finds a glass with false teeth floating within. The false teeth fascinate him, barely able to hold it in What-the-Dickens as if he may take the false teeth. Startled, the old lady wakes up and ask if god is talking to her, she refuses to give What-the-Dickens the teeth in fear he would end her life (weird, huh?). She starts babbling on about her old age and the difficulty's that occur with it. The old women puts on her glasses, finally able to see What-the-Dickens she decides to catch him. Caught off guard, What-the-Dickens becomes entrapped in the false teeth glass when the "old crone" flips the glass over on him. She tells him of her plans involving her catch, such as escaping death, luring her family into visiting and making him her pet .Eventuality What-the-Dickens is able to escape the old ladies room and  goes off into fresh air. The water however had made his wings damp so he had to take shelter in a bakery window.

Once he awakes, it's dark out, but that doesn't stop him from roaming around. He finds another window open and decides to once more "investigate" the inside. While inside he finds a little girl resting in her bedroom. He looks about the place for awhile until he is startled by a voice. As he turns around he is shocked to discover one of his own. Her name is Pepper and is first pictured as feisty and rude. However that is not the case, she had assumed that What-the-Dickens was a spy from another skibberee tribe. After talking to him for awhile she decides that he's too "dim" to be a spy and invites him to her house.

Walla. Finished! Nice, okay that's where we leave off. I think the book has a cute little charm to it and I am enjoying it. The writing's decent so it definitely doesn't drag on and on...and on. Oh and today I just happened to discover that post do not delete... if you lose your progress haha. Nice.
